Trinity Counseling, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2000, serves the Greater Birmingham area by providing  affordable, faith-based counseling and mental health services to ALL those in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Trinity  Counseling also provides special support to service providers like pastors, mental health counselors, social workers, school  counselors, military, police, and first responders.

The barriers to receiving professional mental healthcare services have never been more serious. The stigma associated with  mental health care, limited finances and too few professionals to support the needs of the population is a growing problem.  Awareness of, access to, and affordability of mental health resources are three major factors in determining whether a person can get the support they need – Trinity Counseling prioritizes all three. In 2023 Trinity provided 11,000+ counseling sessions and  responded to 800+ NEW requests for counseling appointments. The needs are growing and funding is critical!

On October 10, 2024, from 6–8 p.m., Trinity Counseling’s Event Board and Board of Directors will hold its 12th Annual Autumn Benefit: Tapas & Tunes at the beautiful Carriage House at Park Crest. Guests are invited to enjoy a variety of mouthwatering tapas, expertly prepared by the talented chefs of Park Crest. As you savor the flavors, you'll be treated to live tunes performed by local musicians, Tarred & Feathered, creating a festive and enjoyable atmosphere. We want to celebrate our supporters and Trinity! By attending this event, you'll not only have a fantastic time but also contribute to a great cause.

More than ever mental health is a growing concern. We are determined to make our community a healthier place by raising funds for Trinity Counseling to continue the provision of mental healthcare to all those in need in our great city. The goal of our event is to raise $125,000 for Trinity Counseling’s annual budget, which will allow the ministry to continue providing mental health services in the Birmingham area.
